"Night of Museums" at MNIR!17-05-2008 The Romanian National History Museum invites you on May 17-18, starting at 16.00 until dawn at 4 AM, in Calea Victoriei nr. 12!
• Free entrance and guided tours for the following exhibitions: National Historic Treasure, “Lapidarium”, “Trajan’s Column”, “ Cities of Romania at the turn of the 20th century “.
Theatrical performances:
• 19.00 – „R&J”, directed by Răzvan Lungeanu, after „Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare, presented by the Experimenthalia formation, "Ion Neculce" High School, coordinated by prof. Iuliana Coja.
• 21.00 – social play: „ We have! What does it cost to maintain?” on themes concerning national cultural heritage preservation, "Chance for Life" foundation, coordonator Laura Holm.
• 23.00 – „O noapte furtunoasa” ("A stormy night") by I.L. Caragiale, performed by students of the National University of Theatre and Cinematography, directed by prof. Marius Galea, coordonated by Ioana Denisa Petre.
• next day, Sunday May 18th, the museum is closed.
Hosts: “Friends of the Romanian National History Museum” the "Horia Hulubei", "Ion Barbu", "Ştefan Odobleja" and "Ion. N. Socolescu" high schools.
